What is Standard seven results?
The standard 7 results are the results of the national examination test taken by the standard seven students in the United Republic of Tanzania. The examination process is supervised by the National Examination Council of Tanzania NECTA.
NECTA is responsible for the administration and supervision of all National Examinations in Tanzania. Also, it involved the marking and the process of realising the results.

- Access the result Tab
- Choose the result that you want to view. For standard 7 click PSLE
- Then click on the year in which you want to visit the results. Recently year is 2022
- Then find your school in the region provided to view your results.

History of the Nationa Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA)
The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) is a Government Institution that was established by the Parliamentary Act No. 21 of 1973.
NECTA is responsible for the administration and supervision of all National Examinations in Tanzania. Also, it involved the marking and the process of realising the results.
The decision to establish NECTA was a follow-up of an earlier move, in April 1971, when Tanzania Mainland pulled out of the East African Examinations Council (EAEC) to conduct her own examinations.
Zanzibar pulled out of EAEC in 1970. Before the pull-out, between 1968 and 1971, Tanzania sat for foreign Secondary School Examinations conducted jointly by the East African Syndicate, which before then were run by the Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate alone.
The Examinations conducted by the Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate then were the School Certificate and the Higher School Certificate Examinations.
The African Students took the School Certificate Examinations for the first time in 1947 and of the Higher School Certificate in 1960.
